Aldwark Manor

  • Earlier Houses: There was an earlier Medieval moated house on, or near, the site of the current house that was demolished in the 1840s.

    House & Family History: During World War II the house served as accommodation for officers of the Royal Canadian Air Force, who flew out of nearby RAF Linton. In 1978 Aldwark Manor was converted into a hotel, a purpose it continues to serve today.
