Dunira House (Whitehouse of Dunira)

  • Earlier Houses: A late 18th century house (the first house) was demolished circa 1850 and replaced by the second house.

    Built / Designed For: Sir David Dundas

    House & Family History: In 2008 Whitehouse of Dunira, together with 3,261 acres, was listed for sale.

    House Replaced By: Whitehouse of Dunira (the third house), a smaller house on the estate, was converted into the main estate house in the early 1950s, after the Victorian house (the second house) was destroyed by fire in 1948.
