An 1830 engraving of the house from "Jones's Views of Seats"
House & Family History: In 1997 Christopher Boot Holman sold Foxcote, for approximately £3 million, to Leslie Wexner, the American retailer who made his fortune with The Limited, Victoria's Secret, and Abercrombie & Fitch retail chains. The Holmans purchased Foxcote in the 1960s, when it was being used as a school. Christopher Boot Holman was the grandson of Jesse Boot, later 1st Lord Trent, founder of Boots the Chemist. Foxcote is notable for its entrance façade that features giant angle pilasters, engaged angle columns, and a pediment with urns on the parapets.
Chapel & Church: A former Roman Catholic chapel that faces the garden façade of the house has been converted into a party pavilion.
