Gifford House

  • House & Family History: During World War I Gifford House was an auxiliary hospital, a purpose it continued to serve until 1932. During World War II Gifford was used as a military training center. The House was abandoned at the end of the war and remained derelict until it was demolished in the 1950s by the London County Council and replaced by the Innes Gardens council estate.

  • Garden & Outbuildings: The Grade II-listed Ice House is extant.
