House & Family History: Mount Kennedy is noted for the delicate interior decoration in the main receptions rooms, specifically Neoclassical plasterwork by Michael Stapleton and medallions in grisaille by Peter De Gree (a Belgian who came to Ireland in 1785). Mount Kennedy, together with 169 acres, was listed for sale in February of 2011 for €6.5 million.
