Well Vale Hall (Wellvale House)

  • House & Family History: The Rawnsley family acquired the Well Vale Estate in 1914. Beginning in the mid-20th century the house was leased to Maypole House School; when Maypole School merged with Conway School in the late 1980s to form Excell International School, Well Vale House was vacated. In 1990 the house, together with 1,671 acres, was sold.
